From 2023, the Civic Art Museum will dedicate a gallery to Andrea Romagnoli, a patron of the arts from Pordenone and a professor of mathematics and physics. He has donated to the Ricchieri Museum antique books, art catalogues and around eighty works created between the 18th century and the early 20th century.

These include paintings by Guglielmo Ciardi, Italico Brass, Giuseppe Tominz, Federico Zandomeneghi, Luigi Nono and Vittore Carniel, as well as lithographs and etchings by Renato Guttuso.

This bequest reflects the strong support of Pordenone’s citizens for their city’s museums. It also enriches the Ricchieri’s collections, making it possible to expand the selection of works displayed on a rotating basis in its galleries.
