Small museums, libraries, galleries and community venues form a network of exhibition spaces that have become an integral part of the Pordenone Musei network. The cultural activities organised by associations and volunteers enrich the calendar of exhibitions and events, making the cultural heritage of the city and its surrounding area an increasingly widespread and shared public asset.
Temporary Exhibition Spaces
Casa del Mutilato
With its rationalist style, it dominates Piazza XX Settembre and will soon be transformed into an innovative cultural and multimedia center dedicated to twentieth-century art. Named "Multilati," it will feature immersive technologies and interactive modes of engagement.
Ecomuseum of the Noncello River
It was established as a widespread project linked to the River Contract: a participatory process that brings together the environment, culture, and community. Not a traditional museum, but a network of places and stories along the river, designed to enhance the territory and its identity.
Former barracks on Via Molinari
A decommissioned military complex from World War II, it is currently at the center of an urban regeneration project funded by the NRRP. The spaces will be returned to the city for cultural, social, and environmental purposes, transforming it into a new hub for meeting and sharing.
Immaginario scientifico
An interactive space dedicated to science, it offers hands-on experiences exploring physical phenomena, light and perception. Part of the Immaginario Scientifico of Trieste, it joins Pordenone Musei, expanding synergies and collaborations between associations and institutions.
Galleria Sagittaria Casa dello Studente
Active since the second half of the twentieth century and linked to the Centro Iniziative Culturali, it hosts exhibitions, talks and film series. Located in the Casa dello Studente, it is an open space where art, cinema and audiences meet within a continuous programme.
Mercati Culturali Pordenone
Created through the regeneration of the former fruit and vegetable market, these “Cultural Markets” host spaces for coworking, events, exhibitions and food services. A contemporary hub that brings together creativity, cultural enterprises and social life, becoming a meeting point for new projects and forms of expression.
Palazzo Gregoris - Società Operaia di Pordenone
A grand seventeenth-century palace overlooking Contrada Maggiore in the heart of the historic centre. Since 1889, it has been home to the Società Operaia di Mutuo Soccorso e Istruzione (Workers' Mutual Aid and Education Society). Thanks to its many exhibitions, conferences and social activities, it is now a focal point of the city’s civic life.
