Among the objects associated with places of worship and funerary contexts in the Pordenone area, four small anthropomorphic bronze figurines dating from between the 4th and 1st centuries BC stand out. Discovered in a ploughed field in Praturlone (Fiume Veneto), they must have belonged to a small sacred site that can no longer be identified. The unusual position of their arms suggests that they are warriors holding weapons that have since been lost: a spear and a shield. These little warriors still seem to be watching over a sacred space and guarding the path: the path taken centuries ago by travellers bearing an offering to the deity, and your own path as you visit the museum today.
